This formerly famous personality is now wasting away in a lowly basement apartment that reeks of spilled diesel. Though his name is still to this day mentioned alongside such lofty celebrities as Ted Turner, Barbara Walters and Katie Couric (by those in-the-know), he himself has settled into an oddly anomalous state. It goes to show: no matter how bright one's flame shines early in life, it's no indicator of what to expect in the future. More so than stocks, people have random walk trajectories largely dependent on luck.
Humanity should not permit exceptional human beings to be forgotten. Just as Mozart and Vivaldi did not deserve paupers' graves, this fellow shouldn't look as forlorn as he does.
Excessive fatigue, jaded, blasé, indifferent, fatigued, drained
